Welcome friends to JacqueHollander.com

In 1988, Jacque Hollander became the victim of a violent rape by James Brown, the 'Godfather of Soul'. It would take almost 20 years for the case to make its way to the United States Supreme Court. Ending on December 25th 2006 with the death of James Brown.

In January of 2007, the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault had Jacque's Argument and Dream drafted in to a bill, HB1462.
Many said it would take years for a bill of this magnitude to become law --
Jacque and I.C.A.S.A. took her story and case before the Illinois House of Representatives and the Illinois Senate. The bill, HB1462, passed through the House and Senate unanimously.
On September 10, 2007 Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed HB1462 into law.
On January 1, 2008 all victims of rape now stand under Jacque Hollanders dream

"To Never Walk In Her Shoes Again"

Jacque's Prayer

God - Hold me
Through the Pain
Erase the Nightmares
& Gently
Bless My Soul.

Events of 2010

Jacque Hollander is now in Federal Court fighting for her half of the trust that she created with James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, and was a partner in this trust which is valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

This trust was set up for the poor and needy.

Jacque is fighting for control of the Trust as an equal partner so the funds can reach those it was meant to serve.

A Message from Jacque Hollander.

"I would like to take this time to Thank all the wonderful people in my life ...who have held me up through these difficult times. I will always be grateful for the kindness you have shown and given to me. To the many people across the United States and the world who take the time to email me or to call me .....your words mean every thing. I hope my site has led you some how to find some comfort.......I will continue my fight for the Trust which I co-created with James Brown prior to the rape .....whose purpose is for all the less fortunate. Know that your stories ....your pain .....is with me always ....I carry you in my heart. And mostly .....to Icasa....my light tower: Thanks for hearing the truth ....believing in me....and for the door that is never closed ....for others like me ....who in the darkness are searching for the light that will bring them home to a peaceful place in their heart. To the 173RD ELITE FORCES...AND NAVY SEALS.......THANK YOU !"
